    Day 37

    Gibraltar

Gibraltar, Red pillar boxes, fish-and-chip shops, and creaky 1970s seaside hotels: Gibraltar – as British writer Laurie Lee once commented – is a piece of Portsmouth sliced off and towed 500 miles south. ‘The Rock’ overstates its Britishness, a bonus for pub-grub and afternoon-tea lovers, but a confusing double-take for modern Brits who thought the days of Lord Nelson memorabilia were long gone. Poised strategically at the jaws of Europe and Africa, Gibraltar, with its Palladian architecture and camera-hogging Barbary macaques, makes an interesting break from the white towns of bordering Cádiz province.
    Day 38

    At Sea

You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Day 39

    Barcelona

Barcelona has it all – sun, sea, and a city full of life. A must-see attraction is the famous Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece. Walk down Las Ramblas for street performers, shopping, and dining. Enjoy the Gothic Quarter, a collection of narrow cobblestone streets and medieval architecture. You can't leave without visiting Park Guell, a magical garden with panoramic views of the city. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, such as the traditional paella and refreshing sangria. With its vibrant culture and stunning scenery, Barcelona is a destination that should be on everyone's bucket list.
    Day 40

    At Sea

You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools, and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends. Activities and entertainment tend to ramp up on days at sea because everyone is onboard the ship. You might notice more trivia contests, tournaments in the casino, afternoon shows in the theater, musical entertainment, poolside activities, and even special classes not offered on other days of your cruise.
    Day 41

    Day 42

    Day 43

    Marseille

Marseille, a bustling port city in the South of France, is a must-visit destination for travelers seeking rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning Mediterranean views. Start your exploration of Marseille's Old Port, filled with local fish markets, trendy cafes, and street performers. Visit the historic neighborhood of Le Panier, with its colorful buildings and narrow streets. Don't miss the iconic Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, perched on a hilltop overlooking the city. Finally, take a stroll along the Corniche, a scenic coastal road with breathtaking views of the sea and the city.

    Day 44

    Genoa

Genoa. The home of Pesto and Christopher Columbus, Genoa is often bypassed in favor of Instagram-magnet Cinque Terre or fashionista’s choice Milan. This is a shame because to neglect this handsome port is to miss out on one of Italy's most affordable, low-key, local-vibes cities. The capital of Liguria is not the most glamorous place in Italy. But its maritime heritage can never be questioned. Its harbor was alive with boats before the Roman Empire had risen, and it spent the  Middle Ages as an independent city-state.
    Day 45

    Florence

Florence, the capital of Tuscany, is a city renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and world-class museums. The city is home to some of the most iconic landmarks of the Renaissance period, such as the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the Uffizi Gallery. Walking along the winding streets, visitors can admire the many palaces, churches, and museums that make Florence one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. For those who enjoy local cuisine, Florence is the perfect place to indulge in world-class Tuscan cuisine, including the famous Florentine steak and a variety of delicious pasta dishes.

    Day 46

    Rome - Disembark

Rome, the capital of Italy and a city steeped in history, is a must-visit destination for every traveler. With its stunning architecture, delicious cuisine, and rich cultural heritage, Rome is a city that will leave you breathless. You can explore the ancient ruins of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum or visit the Vatican City to see the world-famous Sistine Chapel. Stroll through the picturesque streets of Trastevere, take a sunset walk along the Tiber River, and indulge in some of the best pizza, pasta, and gelato that you've ever tasted.

    Day 36

    Fly to the UK

Fly to the UK. Flying back to the UK after your holiday can be a smooth process if you plan. Start by checking your flight details and arriving at the airport with plenty of time to spare. Make sure you have all the necessary documents, including your passport and boarding pass. If you have any duty-free items, keep them easily accessible. During your flight, stay hydrated get up, and stretch your legs periodically. Once you land, be prepared for possible long queues at passport control. With a little preparation, you can make your return trip stress-free.
