Celebrity Cruises set out to design its newest and most technologically advanced ship, Celebrity Edge, to make a statement. Not with titles -- it's not the largest, nor the most luxurious; it doesn't have the most water slides or the biggest suite at sea. But it is one of the most unusual and appealing cruise ships we've seen in a decade, and it was very much built to appeal to the contemporary traveler.

We hope you have a pleasant flight.

Portofino is in the province of Genoa, on the Italian Riviera. Both a fishing village and a luxury resort. It is famous for its historical association with the rich and famous. Portofino was originally named Portus Delphini due to the abundance of dolphins and whales found in its blue waters. It is a diver’s haven of red coral and fish by the millions. Pastel-colored buildings rim the harbor filled with luxury yachts.
La Spezia. Surrounded by coastal villages and rural countryside. A busy, bustling city that offers good-value restaurants and some renowned museums. The colorful fishing villages of Cinque Terre are easy to get to by train or you can walk along the coastal path enjoying a stunning view of the sea.
Ajaccio Corsica is the capital of Corsica, a French island in the Mediterranean Sea. A port city on the rugged isle's western coast, it was the birthplace of French Emperor Napoléon Bonaparte in 1769. His ancestral home, Maison Bonaparte, is now a museum displaying family heirlooms. The baroque, 16th-century Notre-Dame Cathedral, where Napoléon was baptized, contains paintings by Delacroix and Tintoretto.
Cannes is of course famed mostly for its 10-day film festival held in May each year. The old town, called Le Suquet is quaint but small, and whilst there are plenty of very up-market shops in La Croisette, a tree-lined boulevard whose prices may well take your breath away!
At Sea You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends.
Palma a major port, and the summer holiday spot of choice for Spain's royal family. Explore the lovely old quarter and step into the past in the historic churches, then get a taste of contemporary Palma in the city's lively tapas bars. Visit the Arab Baths, the Moorish Palace, and the Mallorca Museum, buy a string of Mallorca pearls, or for outstanding views of the harbor take a ride on the wooden train to Soller. Fjordland National Park
Barcelona. Towering temple columns, ancient city walls, and subterranean stone corridors provide a window into Roman-era Barcino. Take a stroll through the shadowy lanes of the Gothic quarter, past tranquil plazas and soaring 14th-century cathedrals. In other parts of town bloom the sculptural masterpieces of Modernisme, a mix of ingenious and whimsical creations by Gaudí and his Catalan architectural contemporaries.
Have a safe journey and enjoy your flight.
