Barcelona - Embark Norwegian Epic
Barcelona. Towering temple columns, ancient city walls, and subterranean stone corridors provide a window into Roman-era Barcino. Take a stroll through the shadowy lanes of the Gothic quarter, past tranquil plazas and soaring 14th-century cathedrals. In other parts of town bloom the sculptural masterpieces of Modernisme, a mix of ingenious and whimsical creations by Gaudí and his Catalan architectural contemporaries.

Corsica
Corsica. Calvi is a small port town on the island of Corsica. You would be forgiven for thinking that Calvi isn’t exactly the most welcoming place at first sight. The imposing stone fortress has fended off many an invader since the 1400s. The massive snow-peaked mountains in the background only add to the drama of the scene. But as they often are, looks are deceiving, and the reception you can expect once you reach dry land is decidedly warm. Calvi is also the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Unfortunately, all that remains of his family home is a pile of ruins, as it was destroyed by the infamous Admiral Nelson, who ended up losing an eye in the process, during the French Revolution.

Rome (Civitavecchia)
Civitavecchia (Rome). Often described as the Eternal City. Filled with breathtaking treasurers of almost every description. The Vatican's Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica, the Colosseum, and the Trevi Fountain. Take a walk along the famous Via Veneto which came to fame in the 1960’ as the center of la dolce vita (the sweet life) attracting jet setters and stars from around the world.

Naples
Naples. Under the shadow of Vesuvius, Naples is best known for its medieval and Baroque architecture. With Pompeii on its doorstep and as many churches as Rome, there's a lot to see in this city on the Bay of Naples. Sip a glass of Lacryma Christi wine from the slopes of Vesuvius or shop on Via San Gregorio Armeno. Or simply relax with a Margherita pizza at one of the many piazza cafés.

Livorno
Livorno. Claimed to be the cradle of the Renaissance and home to the Uffizi Gallery. which is only rivaled by the Louvre for its collection of Renaissance masterpieces. You can also make your way to the world-famous Tower of Pisa which took over 177 years to build and has been learning since construction began in 1173.

Cannes
Cannes is of course famed mostly for its 10-day film festival held in May each year. The old town, called Le Suquet is quaint but small, and whilst there are plenty of very up-market shops in La Croisette, a tree-lined boulevard whose prices may well take your breath away!

Palma
Palma a major port, and the summer holiday spot of choice for Spain's royal family. Explore the lovely old quarter and step into the past in the historic churches, then get a taste of contemporary Palma in the city's lively tapas bars. Visit the Arab Baths, the Moorish Palace, and the Mallorca Museum, buy a string of Mallorca pearls, or for outstanding views of the harbor take a ride on the wooden train to Soller. Fjordland National Park
