Singapore - Embark Queen Elizabeth

Singapore is amongst one of the world’s busiest ports and most prosperous cities. It is full of culture, history, and excitement, where you are welcome to enjoy a tropical climate and multicultural population. At its colonial core is Padang, a cricket field since the 1830s now flanked by the 18 Corinthian columns of City Hall. In Chinatown stands the oddly named but beautiful Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.

Day 3-4
04 Apr 2023

Chan May

Chan May is situated between the historic towns of Hue City and Hoi An. Visit the Citadel where the emperor once lived in Hue City, or wander the shops, art galleries, and cafés of Hoi An as you marvel at its ancient buildings. Both offer plenty of temples, museums, and galleries as well as diverse local cuisine.

Hong Kong - Overnight Onboard

Contradiction is part of Hong Kong’s attraction. While the city buzzes with modern commerce, soaring skyscrapers, and sophistication, it remains a place of ancient beliefs and intriguing local customs. Few cities balance old and new like Hong Kong. A city as fiercely modern as it is traditional, life here pulses with vigour and vitality while still honouring ancient customs and beliefs.

Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon, which mixes Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. Intramuros, a walled city in colonial times, is the heart of Old Manila. It’s home to the baroque 16th-century San Agustin Church as well as Fort Santiago, a storied citadel and former military prison.

Day 12
13 Apr 2023
Hualien

Hualien. Although it’s one of Taiwan’s largest cities, Hualian has a lot of natural beauty and an easy-going pace of life. It boasts a good choice of restaurants, parks, and ocean views but it’s also the gateway to discover Taiwan’s beaches, hiking trails, waterfalls, and hot springs. Visit Taroko National Park with an astounding 12-mile-long canyon—a breathtaking spectacle of craggy rocks and cascading water. St. Barthélemy Island

Day 13
14 Apr 2023
Keelung, Taiwan

Keelung Taiwan is a port city near Taipei, in northern Taiwan. Surrounded by mountains, it’s known for its sheltered harbor. Near the waterfront, street-food stalls at Miaokou Night Market offer traditional snacks and seafood. Several forts around the area include hilltop Ershawan Fort, with cannons and a Chinese-style gate. Both Gongzi Liao Fort and Dawulun Fort offer views over the harbor and ocean.

Day 14
15 Apr 2023
Ishigaki

Ishigaki.  Once Japan’s best-kept secret, Ishigaki is a favorite getaway for vacationers from Tokyo. On a cruise to Ishigaki, put on your snorkeling gear and swim among schools of tropical fish at Taketomi Island, or lace up your hiking boots for an unforgettable view from the top of Mount Omoto. History buffs will find plenty of Okinawan culture and tradition in downtown Ishigaki and beyond, whether you’re studying ancient human remains to date back 24,000 years at the Yaeyama Museum or picking up a few Okinawan dance moves at the Yaema Village. Travel beyond the glittering city lights of Tokyo and Kyoto to experience thousands of years of Japanese traditions in Ishigaki and the surrounding islands.

Day 15
16 Apr 2023
Naha

Naha is the capital of Okinawa Prefecture, the tropical island group south of mainland Japan. It's known for Shuri Castle, the restored royal palace of the Ryukyu Kingdom, which flourished from the 1400s–to the 1800s and invented the martial art karate. Tsuboya district is associated with traditional ceramics like shiisa (lion-dog figures). Lined with shops, bars, and restaurants, Kokusaidori is Naha's main street. St. Barthélemy Island

Day 16-17

Day 18
19 Apr 2023
Tokyo

Tokyo. From high-end sushi to quick-slurped noodles, Tokyo lives up to its rep as a culinary powerhouse. In areas like Shibuya and Shinjuku, the city delivers the crowds and neon travelers envision. Elsewhere it balances the brash with tranquil gardens and old ways. With its jurisdiction stretching from western mountains to remote southern islands, the capital goes way beyond the expected.

Day 19
20 Apr 2023
At Sea

At Sea You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends.

Day 20
21 Apr 2023
Yatsushiro

Yatsushiro. Located on the west coast of Japan's southernmost island, Kumamoto is close enough for day trips to Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and Aso-san. But stay in town and you'll find plenty to do, including exploring one of Japan's "Three Famous Castles." Kumamoto Castle in the center of town was built in 1601 and features massive, curved stone walls and 600 cherry blossom trees that bloom each spring. Also stroll a shopping arcade more than half a mile long, stopping in one of the many restaurants along the way to try delicious Kumamoto-style ramen noodles served in a rich pork broth.

Day 21
22 Apr 2023
Fukuoka

Fukuoka, the capital of Fukuoka Prefecture, sits on the northern shore of Japan’s Kyushu Island. It’s known for ancient temples, beaches, and modern shopping malls, including Canal City. Maizuru Park contains ruins of 17th-century Fukuoka Castle. The central Hakata district contains Tōchō-ji Temple, home to a 10m wooden Buddha and the Hakata Machiya Folk Museum, with displays on daily life in the Meiji and Taishō eras.

Day 22
23 Apr 2023
Busan

Busan. The largest port city in South Korea, and known for its beaches, mountains, and temples. It is called the summer capital of Korea since it attracts tourists from all over the country to its six beaches. The country’s largest beach, Haeundae, is 40 mins away from central Busan and has luxury hotels, a carnival boardwalk, and the Sea Life Aquarium. Beomeosa Temple, a Buddhist shrine founded in 678 A.D.

Day 23
24 Apr 2023
At Sea

At Sea You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends.

Day 24
25 Apr 2023
Kanazawa

Kanazawa.  Its relatively remote location, off the beaten track, has perhaps unfairly contributed to a lower number of foreign tourists. However, for those travelers who want to see perhaps the best-preserved major Edo-period city in the country, it is hard to beat.

Day 25
26 Apr 2023
Akita

Akita. Akita City is a bustling port in northern Japan where good food and good drinks are essential for weathering the long winters and over 3.6 meters of snow a year. Akita is the capital of Akita Prefecture, which is renowned for Akita dogs, high-quality rice and sake, and lively folk festivals. Revelers in traditional attire often greet cruise ships by balancing lantern-laden bamboo poles, which are part of the summer Kanto Festival. Look out for people dressed up as Namahage ogres, too. You can explore this rich culture in the city's parks, historic buildings, and cultural attractions.

Day 26
27 Apr 2023
At Sea

At Sea You’ll always find a place to bask in the sun onboard or find the outdoor whirlpools, swimming pools and ample sun loungers, or simply relax with a book or a cocktail and enjoy the peace of the company of newfound friends.
