La Possession Reunion. La Possession is one of the communes found in the French overseas department of Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. The commune is located on the island’s Northwest Side, a few kilometers from the island’s capital, Saint-Denis. This well-known tourist destination has been blessed with a tropical climate that matches well with its white sandy beaches.
